Greg Goodfliesh is former Vice President, èßäÉçÇøappX, the global business innovation accelerator of Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (èßäÉçÇøapp). Greg is based both in Hong Kong and in California’s (U.S.) Silicon Valley, providing èßäÉçÇøappX with local conduits to cutting-edge digital developments.
Prior to his current appointment, Greg served as Managing Director, èßäÉçÇøappX Asia. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of èßäÉçÇøapp’s Asia Innovation team. Previously, he served concurrently as head of business development for èßäÉçÇøapp Japan as well as the Global Financial Solutions lead for èßäÉçÇøapp’s Asia Pacific region, and before then, as Director of Business Development for èßäÉçÇøapp Australia, where he was an integral member of the team that enabled èßäÉçÇøapp to become the largest life reinsurer in Australia.
Before moving to Australia in 2004, Greg was a Vice President and Actuary in èßäÉçÇøapp’s Global Financial Solutions unit, and was based in èßäÉçÇøapp’s St. Louis, Missouri headquarters. He was responsible for the pricing, structuring, evaluation and monitoring of all asset-intensive transactions reinsured by èßäÉçÇøapp. Prior to joining èßäÉçÇøapp in 1997, he was with American Express, where he was responsible for the pricing, cash flow testing, and asset liability management of several product lines.
Greg is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in statistics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
