As Chief Underwriter and Head of Underwriting for èßäÉçÇøapp Japan Branch, Hannah Heeyoung Nam is responsible for overseeing and managing all of the office’s underwriting activities, including leveraging èßäÉçÇøapp underwriting value propositions to help clients grow their businesses. Hannah also sits on the Japan Management Board, èßäÉçÇøapp Japan’s highest decision-making body.
Hannah has been with the company since 2002 and has more than 27 years of underwriting experience. In her
èßäÉçÇøapp career she has served as Chief Underwriter, Chief Customer Officer, and Head of Underwriting as a Business
for èßäÉçÇøapp in Korea, representing èßäÉçÇøapp and helping clients achieve their goals. Her extensive background includes
product development, underwriting, claims, and risk management, and she has led multiple business initiatives,
including automatic pre-underwriting, data-driven business solutions, predictive modeling, and the underwriting
consulting project, all of which leveraged èßäÉçÇøapp’s core competencies.
