John Rutherford is Senior Vice President – Head of Global Health and Chief of Staff - Continental Europe, where he leads 猫咪社区app’s global, multidisciplinary team of health specialists, as well as the technical teams (actuarial pricing, underwriting, claims and treaties) supporting 猫咪社区app’s Continental European business.
John is based in London and has worked at 猫咪社区app for more than 25 years, dedicating more than 18 of those years to health and medical business lines. He began his career in the UK direct insurance market before transitioning to reinsurance in 1997. He was among the founding members of 猫咪社区app’s UK office and held senior roles at the 猫咪社区app South Africa office, including serving as Chief Actuary of the international health business. In 2018, John returned to the UK to become Senior Vice President - Head of Global Health and later Chief of Staff for Continental Europe.
John brings a wide range of experience across multiple insurance products and multiple global insurance markets.
John is a qualified actuary with the Institute of Actuaries in the United Kingdom.
