Lizzy Lubczanski serves as a Lead Behavioural Scientist for èßäÉçÇøapp’s Global Research & Development team, which supports life and health insurance clients across the world with key behavioural challenges. In this role, she conducts research and shares behavioural perspectives with the industry through publishing, presenting and creating content, while working directly with clients to implement solutions ranging from increasing insurance product sales to changing health behaviours.
Lizzy brings over a decade of experience in the UK protection market, having previously spent her career at Swiss Re where she pioneered the application of behavioural science to insurance. During her tenure there, she delivered over 200 behavioural research trials with life and health insurers globally, and presented widely on behavioural science applications.
Her expertise spans the full spectrum of insurance operations, from product development and customer communications to underwriting journeys and claims processes. She was recognised as one of LIMRA’s Rising Stars in Innovation Under 40 in the financial services industry and has served as an invited speaker at insuretech conferences worldwide, recently presenting on the customer perspective on UK protection products and trust in AI.
Lizzy holds a PhD in health psychology from University College London, along with a Masters of Science in health psychology and a Bachelor of Science with honours in psychology from the University of Nottingham.
