Raajeev Bhayana is Head of Health Underwriting on èßäÉçÇøapp's Global Underwriting team. Based in Singapore, he provides underwriting and product development support for health initiatives in èßäÉçÇøapp’s key markets, and he is also responsible for helping drive èßäÉçÇøapp’s health underwriting philosophy globally.
Raajeev has more than 17 years of insurance experience gained across multiple markets, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, India, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia. His broad health insurance background covers case underwriting, product development, underwriting guideline design, audits, training, and medical claims adjudication.
Prior to joining èßäÉçÇøapp, Raajeev worked for Swiss Re in underwriting and audit roles, where he was responsible for the development of a global health underwriting manual.
Raajeev received a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences degree and is an Associate of both the Academy of Life Underwriting (AALU) and the Life Management Institute (ALMI).
